Portfolio#1 – Design & Alter/Bride & Alter
Brand photography for social media, slide shows, website and PR
Design & Alter provides high-quality tailoring and alteration services for individuals and luxury fashion brands—serving the high-end segment of the alteration market. The alteration industry suffers from low price acceptance due to the undervalued general perception of clothes alterations.
To improve this, we decided to communicate the team’s exceptional tailoring quality and dedication by sharing behind-the-scenes insights: introducing the team, showcasing the exceptional skills required, and highlighting the attention to detail of the garments altered by D&A. We communicate the scope of the work and include clients, such as the fashion brands the company works with. We create a visual narrative by showing the labels and signature garments, as well as the company’s VIP relationships. All efforts contribute to improved price acceptance and value recognition.
Behind the scenes
The making
Visually communicate the skill and talent of fitters, tailors and seamstresses, and the concentration needed to achieve high-quality alterations and tailoring standards.
The Brands D&A works for
The company specialises in designer alterations for private clients and luxury brands
D&A works for many of London’s luxury brands. We wanted to visually share some of the brands to communicate and reflect the standards and high quality of D&A’s alterations, so we photographed some of the powerful labels, enlarged them, and hung them in the fitting studio.
Portfolio#2 – Hastings Antique Centre
Brand photography for social media and slide shows as window displays
Hastings Antiques is a classic antique shop with a unique, quirky, personal flair. It is packed with furniture, lighting, art, home decor, bric-a-brac, figurines, and more, making it difficult to photograph individual items for a showcase.
We decided on a photographic style that presents the unique atmosphere and collection, reflecting the range and the owner’s personality. The images are set up for short-lived content that changes daily. The aim is to encourage customers to visit the shop and explore the treasure trove.
The shop window slide show runs in the evening and showcases art and selected pieces to window shoppers who visit Norman Road to explore the area’s rich mix of culinary venues.
