Martina Spence

Martina Spence, Director of MMS Studio, has over 20 years of experience working in business development, marketing, sales and as a designer. She was a member of creative teams that re-branded multinationals Tchibo and Nordsee. As a designer, she worked for international design studios developing innovative product lines for brands such as Bodum, DK and Arzberg, Duravit and Artifort.

Martina’s marketing career includes successful business development, brand management and marketing for small businesses and retail. She implemented re-branding strategies for multinationals. As a part-timer, she worked in audience development and customer-relationship-marketing (CRM) for galleries such as Watt’s Gallery and Dulwich Picture Gallery. Martina has a strong interest in what drives consumer behaviour. She conducted research and visitor surveys for Starbucks. The research explored consumer perception of the company’s corporate social responsibilities (CSR) efforts. 

With her proven experience in leadership positions, she has recently been working as marketing director for a brand that supplies luxury fashion houses such as Gucci, Hermes and Stella McCartney in London. The company supports press offices with VIP service and has a well-established list of high-net-worth private clients. She has also driven the brand’s growth in the bridal sector.

Martina has two sons who are now at university. She has used her new-found freedom to set up MMS Studio. Working with a trusted team of professional partners, she offers comprehensive marketing services covering all core aspects of marketing plans. She is structured and analytical in finding solutions and creative in exploring innovation to improve businesses’ performances.
